The Greater Manchester VCFSE Leadership Group has welcomed new member. Appointed after being nominted by VCFSE environmental sector networks, Deborah Murray, Executive Director at Groundwork has join the Leadership Group.
Deborah Murray – Executive Director at Groundwork Greater Manchester and new GM VCFSE Leadership Group Member
Deborah is Executive Director at Groundwork Greater Manchester, a charity that exists to create a greener, fairer and stronger future for all people, communities and places in Greater Manchester. Deborah joined Groundwork in 2011 as Community and Youth Programme Manager, and was appointed to Executive Director in 2022. Prior to joining the Trust her career had taken her to various roles in public and private sectors, all with a focus on place based regeneration and renewal.
Deborah is passionate about people and their connection with place, energised by working with partners across all sectors to make a difference in Greater Manchester’s communities and committed to continuing to work with those partners to deliver positive social impact and lasting change. She hopes that this role with the Greater Manchester VCFSE Leadership Group will give her the chance to do more.
